Period rifle scope

I'm looking for a period English rifle scope for my John Rigby SLE .22 Savage Hi-Power. Does anyone have such a scope they would be willing to part with or know someone who has? The rifle was built in 1914.

Jim a few days ago there was a holland and holland on ebay for $250. It expired unsold. I'll keep an eye out to see if he relists it. It was a 5/8" or 7/8" with some kind of mount. I've been looking for one for a long time. No luck yet.

I have some information somewhere about modern replicas of the old style scopes made in Hybgary or somewhere. The firm even had a US distributor. Let me see if I can find it and I shall post the information here in case you don't mind a replica instead of the real thing.
