Hi all I Have a New Baikal 45/70 double, It shoots well with hornady leverevolution 325gr left/right is ok and can be regulated with jack screw under the barrels but the left barrel shoots about 8 inches high at 75 yards.My good mate and gunsmith Alex Beer has had a look and can fix this small problem for me later.We have also worked up a good hunting load that shoots very well a 350gr hornady RN 49gr AR2207 for about 2040fps.Next job will be to change the sights a new V rear and a brass bead and flip up ivory moon sight.The Baikal sights are only just.

This is the second double I have owned I used to have a CVA 58cal front stuffer.It was regulated for round balls butt I found that it shot 385gr cast lead bullets with 90gr fff black powder worked very well on fallow deer.I could hit an orange at 50 yards with no problems.
