Bausch & Lomb Elite Scope
      #13934 - 25/04/04 10:21 AM

Anybody used one on a .375H&H. I've got a Garcia model Sako (old model) Finnbear that is currently without glass. I ran across a pristine, in the box, 3-9x B&L Elite for a song at a local gunshop. Anybody use one on a medium to large bore? Thanks.

I do not have an answer about the scope but I was wondering how much your rifle weighs?

I used to have one mounted on 7mm.mag.a few years back. Its a very good scope and i reccommend it highly. In fact i would rate it in the same league as a Zeiss or Swavorsky.

I don't see why it shouldn't hold up under recoil. The 375 isn't known for breaking glass in all the years I've shot them. When you go up in power, that is another matter altogether. I'd say go for it.

Thanks for the replies. It's bought and on the gun. At $125, I'll shoot it till it goes "poof"!!!!!! I always heard the Bausch & Lomb scopes were nice but I've always used Leupold, Zeiss and Swarovski. The Sako is a sporter weight around 7.5 to 8 pounds with out the scope.
