Heading to my house this morning...these guys were crossing a horse pasture...not huge..but they are muley's ...which puts them WAY up in my personal "cool" class...

Fun stuff.

I always like meeting the neighbors!

Here's another.

My son took this one this on his way fishing.

Forgive my ignorance but how big does it have to be Ripp, the one on the left of that last shot looks the goods for me?

Nice - - when they have a sway to the belly, they're 'getting there'.

They always look bigger going away particularly when they are still in velvet.

Look at his forks..not much depth to them... his front forks aren’t that bad...he just would not score that well if one was looking for a "book" buck..

He is also with two smaller guys which makes him look bigger as well..

He still has a lot of length to grow out yet looking at those knobby ends.

He would do this Aussie traveler.

I usualy cut the head and antlers off and toss 'em' before hanging the deer on the meat pole.

They're sure brown for muley's - mostly grey around here.

That's their summer coat, their fall/winter hair is grey here too. The whitetails are a bit more brownish,fall/winter, and their summer coats are kinda reddish. Looks pretty against the green grass.

Thanks for the info guys I have shot a grand total of 2 deer in my life, both fallow does for the pot! Love to get something with antlers soon.

I hope you all have a great season and get amongst them.

Regards,

MOG
