Some more picture most of the wildlife photos were taking in the UMfolozi game reserve in Kwa Zulu Natal. And some on a game farm near Zeerust in the North West province.

I had a kudu cow nearly poke her head into the bakkie when I drove through Umfolozi in 2001. I stayed 2 nights in the park at one of the luxury tents. Was very coool but the vervets and baboons are sure pests in the camps. We had hyena break into the refrigerator. They ripped the door half way off the frame.

Ann,

When in 2001 were you there ?
We stayed in one of those tents as well it was the last tent or most furthest from the center of the camp the first night we had hyena pulling out the dustbin from the frame and the other nights it was two porcupines digging around for scraps. We were there in the begining of November 2001.

We we got there we signed in packed out our stuff and took a game drive we saw 2 leoprads in the first half an hour I couldn't take pictures as these bloody english tourist stopped right infront of my view and asked what we were looking for Man was I pissed to miss an opportunity like that !

Did you also take a night game drive those were fun also a bit too long though in the end.

Frederik,

I was there in August of 2001 with a good friend from Durban. I would love to go back but won't do a night time game drive as that is when the hyenas raid your gear! We did not get dinner that night but they did.

On the way in we stopped to see a cheetah put the stalk on a very big herd of impala. She even ran after them and the comotion was outstanding. She knew we were watching and seemed to set the thing up for us.

I loved the huge herds of game that would come through at night. We happened to be there on a full moon so the sight was amazing. Saw lots of game during the daytime too. Was very nice overall.
