Winchester Grand European scope mount needed.

I've just bought a Winnie Grand European in 7x64 that has had a scope mounted on it. The scope and mounts did not come with it and I now need new mounts. Google didn't produce any leads. Anyone know where I can buy a mount? Thanks

The original factory fitted mounts were from EAW.
EAW has a website that you could check to see if mounts for that rifle are still available.

The quarter rib is recessed and drilled and tapped, so you could quite easily adapt bases to use any QD mount like Warne, Talley etc.

How does she shoot with the irons?

I won't have it for another 6 to 8 weeks. I have to import a shipment of guns from England.

I have a Winchester Grand European rifle with the EAW mounts & rings. I looked it over, and without removing the bases from the rifle I could find no numbers on the mounts to indicate any particular mount for this rifle!

The little Winchester Grand European double rifles are very pretty little rifles, however most, I've come into contact with, were not well regulated, if at all.

The one I have now prints the lower barrel 4" to left of POA, and the the top barrel prints 4" to the right of POA at 50 yds. The rifle will have to be re-regulated before if it useful at all. HOWEVER, it prints tight individual groups from both barrels, so will be very accurate when the barrels are tweeked some, about a $600 repair at Champlin's, by JJ Pardeau.
