Peter,
It would be great to have you over here again hopefully for a bit longer this time than last. You know how it works the more I practise the luckier I get. So get your arse over here again asap.

I love no 1 and no 3.
I am not much into the definition of a good trophy. i mean of course big is good but if it appeals to me i like it. (but then im no expert; havent shot a single animal i africa)

Shooter, I have to tell you there is something about Africa that is hypnotizing. The time that I spent there was like a dream! My plan was to hunt Africa and then hunt Alaska - but I must tell you, I'm seriously thinking about forgetting about Alaska and going back to Africa! (perhas for a Dagga Boy)

cr kennedy, I agree with you. I was bitten by the africa bug over a decade ago. That is when I didnt even first started surfing the net and realised the potential Africa has.
You see growing up in a place where there is a blanket ban on hunting and practically impossible to shoot firearms, i was under the impression that hunting was banned worldwide. And the govt. sponsored anti-hunting anti-gun propaganda... well lets not talk about it.
Can you believe while in med school, i wrote to tonnes of Ph's in SA telling them I wanted to quit medicine and work for them.
I mean I didnt even know what a resume was; just emails.
Of course i had no experience in big game hunting and they were suspicious of a guy quitting medicine for hunting. Some politely declined while most didnt even bother replying.
It seems foolish looking back and i havent told anybody about it. Writig in this forum hoping that fellow hunters might recognise the passion.
Now im in a better position to go to Africa and soon one day I shall and post pics on this forum. I wish you all the success in your next africa trip.
