Just received this from a friend in Europe. Doesn't it look somewhat like the Hoenig double rifle design in a sense?

Interesting, thanks for posting. similar principle to the Hoenig, although I'd say the Hoenig looks an altogether more complicated piece of engineering
I can't really see what advantage it offers over a falling block? An interesting design and build exercise, but I think I'd still have a Hagn...

Yes - interesting don't think my thumbs would easily extract a case unless it has an ejector. The barrel is very load, heavy calibre recoil would be straight back - hard on the muscle groups on the shoulder blade, not to mention the rotator cuff of the shoulder.

It would be nice to shoot in a .260 Rem or such.
