I now have a full copy of the new regulations. They run to 97 pages so I won't post them here......if anyone needs to see them just send me an e-mail and I'll use the reply button.......anyone come here or transiting through (esp in the next few weeks needs to see them) It might also be a good idea to use Air 2000 firearms clearance service at least for the first few weeks.
I was thinking to fly from Madrid to RSA and then fly to Tanzania in October. I know, even in transit, I need to get the RSA permit. Will I need some more paperwork or the same???
I can fly with KLM via Amsterdam too

I can't advise you on how to interpret the act.....the whole thing is a stuff up. All I can suggest is that you look at the act and make your own mind up....... KLM might be a good idea, but you should be aware that KLM & Amsterdam Airport have the worst (worldwide) track record for losing baggage ......sorry to be the bearer of such bad bad news
