Rereading a book, a phrase said by a tracker after a protracted dangerous safari craks me up :

"If we go in for this kind of business too often we'll all wake up one morning and find ourselves dead"

Great, isn't it?

The one who guesses from with book it's excerpted will win 2 dozens of frog's legs.

Yes that is a great phrase ! I can`t remember that I have read it before but I guess it is from a book of J.A.Hunter.

It's not J.A. Hunter but it sounds like it. A German name if that can help.

Well, maybe it is from Arthur H. Neumann`s "Elephant Hunting in East Equatorial Africa" ? That`s the only author with a German name in my library.

"African Adventures", author J.E. BURGER.
If Burger isn't a German name, why on earth are many people in Alsace dubbed Burger?

Allright, this is one point for You ! Well although "Neumann" is more German than "Burger" , I have to agree with You. If You have another phrase of that kind, let us try again !

Funny, my copy of "African Adventures" is written by Finn Aagaard. Must be a misprint on the cover.
