New baby arrived for Christmas

Picked up one of my single shot projects from UPS last Tuesday. The rifle is built off of a C. Sharps action with a Badger barrel and MVA sights. Caliber is .405wcf. Attached are pictures the gunsmith took of it.

Very nice indeed. The smith is a great photographer as well.

What a beautiful rifle but good grief, what a tease, show us the but and the muzzle. Nice choice of caliber too.

Thanks. I will try to get some more pictures but my photographic skills are not nearly as good.

Looks beautiful. The wood looks very nice indeed. Who did the CC?

Do you shoot in competition with the single shots?

The gun was built by Allan Mack in Sturgis, SD. His shop did all the metal and wood work, except for the checkering, on the gun. I'm not a competitive shooter, I just have a thing for old style single shots.

All I can say is WOW!
I have an original 1885 that has been rebuilt with an octagon barrel, some nice wood and bored 32-40. It is not the looker yours is, but it is a charmer.
