Huvius: My Type G in 9.3x62 Magnum has a barrel marked "Bohler Antinit". I believe this is a higher strength steel. I don't know if all magnum calibers used this special steel, but look for this marking on your barrel.

Daryl: I'm not really sure but there is one shown in Speed's book and I've seen photos of another. If anyone knows, please share.

im pretty sure there is no difference between the 2 designations ,,magnum bombe was used to designate a hotter load for the 8x60 the actual cartridge is the same 10 grain difference in the bullet weight,,seems like they just threw the magnum word around ...paul
