My 404 Jeffery Mauser

Hi all new guy here.

I just bought this mauser pictured below. It was built in the 50s on a FN commercial action at about 8 1/2 lbs with a 24" barrel. The magazine holds 4 down.









Here are some pics of the proof marks. Are these Belgian, and I think "B.Blindee" means jacketed
bullet

They are Belgian.
I think you are right on the jacketed bullets, but not sure - apparently, neither is Bonhams...HAHAHA!

Very nice rifle!It looks almost just like a Mahillon 375H&H I had even the proof marks were alike.

A many thanks for the offer, I have lots of new Hornady and Norma brass and bullets. Since I bought
this rifle 18 months ago, I have shot only 10 rounds thru it. The largest game animal is our forest
pigs and for those I use my FN actioned 9.3 x 62.

404 is my favourite calibre by far in the large-medium bore category well done and welcome.
