I carry a large calibre one (not a revolver though) in the middle pocket of my jeans.

But I only get it out when blonde "dangerous" game attack me!

Damn that happens much too often!

No I don't. Unfortunately in most of Australia the only legitimate use of pistols is target shooting, not allowed to be used for hunting.

I think one would be very useful if bowhunting pigs.

However I have "a friend" who used a 357 with wadcutters on goats. Not very effective but fun from the hip rapid fire.

Full powered loads would have been better.

I carry that bowie cause it's illegle to hunt with a bow in New York and carry any type of fire arm with you. Your not even allow when bow hunting to be with anyone carrying a fire arm!! (Stupid Law)

During nomal rifle season though, a pistol does come in handy!

I own a CZ75 9mm PARA wich I carry with me when hunting but only for safety reasons and not for hunting purposes.It will come in handy if you are to walk into a Leopard or something like that.Here in SAf it is against the law to hunt with a semi-auto firearm but they'll understand if it was a danger situation.

Depends on where i hunt,454 new freedom or a 41 mag S&W and some times a ruger 357 mag.diffrent states have diffrent laws.When i hunt the family farm in PA i some times carry a TC with a 4570 barrel has the primary gun to hunt with
