I don't claim to be an expert in guns, but are you sure it's a drilling? I.e. it has three barrels? And if so, that it actually is a Tikka?
I know a fair amount about the Finnish made guns, but have _never_ come across a Tikka drilling, and a mention of such a special weapon would for sure have been made in Arma Fennica. If such a gun did, indeed, exist, it would be worth a fair deal of money on rarity alone.

I think you'll find it is a Tikka M77 or M07, in good nick worth about $A850 + a bit more for the scope.
Edited: Gryphon, sorry my mistake Just saw the Tikka 12g/.222 part not that it was a 12gx12g x.222!
In that case it would indeed be very rare, I'd love to see photos too!
Cheers

Could you get some pictures of the tikka drilling, it would be as unusual as one on bigfoot i think, at least in my world.

egg on my face fellas, all this was from my mate that put me onto it in the first place,he confused a Merkel with the Tikka when he remembered them for sale and picked up the rifle and on further q`s he mailed me back with the following... alas its not true anyway the Tikka combo IS for sale and he has $1200 AUD on it,what do i do now ? He has more egg on his dial than me haha.
Hi John
I fucked up mate, I could have sworn it had two 12g barrels. The drilling I saw was actually a Merkel but it’s gone. This Tikka under & over 12g / 222 rem is very nice, I have it here now, not a mark on it, shoots standard ordinary 222 cases not the rimmed ones. It has a thumb switch up & down for barrel choice and a hammer that you cock. The scope is 2-7 x 32 Leupold the mounts are Tikka. It points beautifully. I took a photo with my phone I’ll send it to you.
