nice elephant in mozambique

PH Peter Wood of Roger Whittall safaris recently helped a client find this elephant in Mozambique. Pete is currently down with malaria so unfortunately I have no other details at this time.

Either Mr Wood is vertically challenged, which he doesn't appear to be, or that is some seriously nice ivory. Looks like pics from the old days, shades of Ruark et al. Love it. Any idea of what they weighed?

No news on weight yet. Your guess is as good as mine. Pete is about 6 feet tall.

I was supposed to leave tomorrow to Mozambique hunt with Pete and Guy... but last minute problems didn´t allow it to happen... looking at these tusks it hurts even more!!!
Glad someone did have a great hunt.
