28in. ribless nitro barrels, scroll engraved at the breech ends and gold-inlaid '1' and '2', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 choke in all, hold-open toplevers, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, non-selective single-triggers, rolled-edge triggerguards, cocking-indicators, rounded bars, fully engraved in relief with best acanthus foliage on a matt background, the lockplates carved and gold-inlaid with a single English rose and gold-inlaid with the makers name in a scrolled ribbon, bright finish overall, 14 1/2in. highly-figured stocks with Prince of Wales grips, with carved steel pistolgrip-caps, gold escutcheons engraved 'E.P.C.', weight 6lb. 3oz., in their blue velvet lined lightweight leather motor case. The makers have kindly confirmed that the guns were completed mid 2006 and that Martin Smith executed the engraving.
