The October issue of "Chassons.com" magazine.

Chassons. com

For those who speak French.
Otherwise enjoy the pictures.

Hi Larcher,

I had a look at both your safari outfitter's webpage and this magazine.... both only written in French !!! nice pictures though but unable to get the lowdown and prices etc. At least I have two "Chapuis" from France but they speak loud and with an Australian accent

Cheers from Australia

Larcher,
Thanks. Enjoyed the Magazine. I usually try to pickup hunting an shooting publications when traveling. I never found one in France. Only in Spain and Italy. I did enjoy a nice friendly Ball shoot by a local hunt club in Dunquirk afew years ago as I was attending a ship loading of some large process vessels we had fabricated there. Beautiful place. Very dedicated hunters.

I enjoyed most of it helps me pick up my french again. The animal names are very strange though. Since we immigrated to SA in '83 before I knew about the cooler animals like hartbees sable and so on. Is there a list somewhere of french and english listed animals ?

Larcher-

Thanks for the clarification!
I'll stay tuned for the next edition in the 'elementary French for non-native speakers' lecture series.

One thing I very quickly learned while exploring around Europe - where I didn't know the local tounge, I kept my mouth shut unless I was spoken to in english that I could understand.
That tended to make the experience better for me, and likely better for those around me.

Cheers
Tinker
