Kudu trophies from our hunting area

Here, are some pics of kudu trophies taken in our area.
Smallest 48" and the largest 62" please bear in mind we try our best to bag a 60" kudu for everyone but for a lot of first time hunters when they see a kudu bull for the first time size doesnt matter anymore

Which is how things should be done when hunting. You can always shoot another bigger kudu in the future when one presents itself.

The big 62" what a beast

Anyone feel for a kudu hunt now ?

It pays to advertise eh?
What range are most of the Kudu in your area shot at?

Makes me want a 'Grey ghost' even more. Well done on some awesome trophies. I will be saving even harder for Africa!

The ranges vary quite a bit but the furtest range was a tadd over a 120 or so meters while the closest was around 25 meters.

Wow--there are some great looking Kudu there..congratulations...

Will have to check out your web-site...have been checking for a place to take my wife and son along on the next hunt---more so for my son to hunt--will be his first African trip..

Ripp,

Our area is just over 2 1/2 hours from OR Tambo Intl but away from it all and there is a lot in the area to do as well. Fishing or a nice day on the dam with the boat game viewing. And we enjoy younger hunters we had quite a range of hunters this year the youngest 15 and the oldest 67.

Maybe we should setup a management package for your son for experience and then add a trophy or two. The hunting is just as hard just more bang for your buck.

I will look on you website--and get in touch with you with questions..

My son is an experienced hunter in his late 20"s..so he will be able to "hold his own" once we get there...

Thinking of combining this with a trip to Zim...will see how things work out..
