Collected this chap this morning; double-lung pass-through; made only twenty yards before crashing; 80lb @ 28" Schafer Silvertip take-down recurve; STOS-tipped Douglas fir arrow weighing 775 grains.

Mate,

top job, I had to pass on a hunt this week due to communication issues with my mates! Glad to see you got out and slammed another one.

Regards,

MOG

Congratulations Ben

A very nice boar and I imagine plenty of thrill.
I am pleased that You too use the Stos Broadhead. We aren't many all over the world.
I suppose that Your fancy wood arrow is broken any time You hit a game. After all it's what happen to alu and sometimes to carbon arrow.

Thanks, JB! The wood arrows have passed-through on my last three kills, and can be used again as soon as I wash the blood off and resharpen the heads. They are just as tough as aluminium and carbon, and just as cheap as standard carbon arrows! They all break if the animal falls on them. But it was a thrill, alright! I'm looking forward to the new and heavier single-bevel broadheads that Todd at STOS is bringing out next year! Ben

Last year I ordered Dan Dupuy at 3 rivers archery single-bevelled BHs, Stos made them but too late, I was still in Africa. I suppose that these Stos are still available at
Stos broadheads

Great guys this 3rivers archery boys.
