Just look at that beautiful rifle.... Sleak, streamlined design, great open sights and superb color case hardening... Karl Heinz Rittrerbusch at his best... As usual

Nicely finished, all right, but a takedown means accuracy problems at some point in the future. Convenient to carry, I guess, but you always give something up when it comes to convenience.

mehul look at the barrels, especially at the area that locks into the action. it will work like a sauer 202 or the like. no problems with accuracy at all.
they got rid of that problem more than 20 years ago in europe, keep up

best regards

peter

Mehul,

FWIW; I have a friend who has a couple of Ritterbusch take-down rifles. His reasoning for going with Ritterbusch is that his take-down system is apparently better/maintains it's tightness longer than the competition. If I recall correctly, he owned several other take-downs by several other well known gunmakers, but was not 100% happy until he ended up with Ritterbusch.

Needless to say, the 2 mentioned rifles are very beautiful.

the front reciever ring is basically hollow, the barrel slides in , i think the action is made by prechtl...paul

Ritterbusch uses only his own actions. He makes them in 4 different sizes(kurz, standard, magnum, super magnum). Prechtl makes 2 sizes(standard, magnum).

A mauser that locks the bolt inside the barrels, that must be the perfect system. I want one.
Il ask my wife if we could sell her car, hmm i try asking her when shes half asleep.

Peter / Erik,

As someone who started using a scope recently when he realised that he wasn't getting any younger, I am DEFINITELY behind the times.

Now why am I using a PC and not Pergammon scrolls?

I spend some time in Europe next year and, hopefully, shall have some time to check out the latest in European technology while I am there.

Good hunting, friends!
