Yes a couple of very good ones !
MarkR ,Matts still up there hard at it , building new camps & fixing stuff !
Nitrox , Well the same client got them both !(he now thinks they are all this size) but I don,t like to post there photos unless I,ve asked them frist , so thats me ! Both shot with 300Gr Swift A frames in a 375 H&H Winchester M70 which is a great bullet but the caliber is too light for these big guys unless you have a big back up rifle , granted they are dead , but takes more time & more shots ,with no margin of error!
416s are better & 45s up are better still ! We had a guy with a 470 Chapuis Double which works very ( he shot 4 bulls )all got shot twice ,just because they didn,t drop fast enought not to get hit by the second barrel

Is there a good story behind this pair Sarg? They are both great bulls, were they taken in the Gan Gan area that you guys have?

Well, theres a big story on one of them (A lot of running & shooting ) but I,m not much of a story teller in print ! And both were taken in Hunt Australia,s Gan Gan Concession

I received a letter recently from an booking agent-they had a "special" deal which always makes me nervous when I hear that word..
But, hunt for $12,000 US--could shoot 25 bulls --of which one could be a trophy...am checking further into it..but man..to go on one hunt and shoot up to 25---that would be a ton of fun..
Send for more info--should have a response next week...heading off tonight to Sturgis..for Harley week...that too, --should be fun...

Ripp , Sounds like a lot of shooting in some type of cull,if it,s straight up ? most likey on a Station (Ranch) & I would be suprised if you could shoot 25 Bulls , more like 25 Buffalo (cows & calves) and one trophy !
Hope your week was fun !

Hey Sarg
Thanks again for your efforts this season. Damn man ... they are two GREAT bulls....
Pete and I just finished a hunt with four more Texans - 103, 103, 104.5, 107 - the big boys just keep rolling in!! You just get spoilt when you get them like that (not that it is always easy) - I wonder how hard it was immediately post BTEC to get a good trophy? Anything over 90 inches would have been great...The SCI record book tells the story.
Cheers for now Matt
