Winchester mdl.70 in .458 Lott

A question for the forum: can a Winchester Mdl.70 in .458 Win. mag., be re-chambered to accept the .458 Lott and if so, any idea about the cost? I love this forum!!!

Yes and the cost varies, but shouldn't be a heck of a lot..depending on which version of a M-70 you have...The pre 64s are a snap.

AAAGGHHHH. Don't go rechambering a pre-64 Mod 70 458 to a Lott. They are much to valuable. Better to sell it and buy 2-3 Lotts with the money.
