Colt/Sauer Drilling 30-06, what's The Load?

An old friend has one of these in 30-06

Given the drilling was made with a simple single sight for the rifle, we assume these were 'regulated' for a specific bullet weight/velocity.

What load has worked out for y'all in your Colt/Sauer drillings, a load that hit to the factory sights?

I've owned two Sauer 3000 12ga/30-06 drillings of about the same vintage, and both shot 180gr Remington PSP like they were regulated with the ammo. I hope this helps.

This one is one of the two, and I don't load for it...just buy Rem 180gr ammo.
