I have a fabulous 9.3x74 for sale. Carl Lewerantz built in stangard Germany in 1929. Great engraving in both English and Germanic styles. Great wood 28 lpi checkering.Claw mounts. Amazing original condition with bright sharp bores. Also comes with 2 antique Carl Zeiss scopes one 2x one 8x. Appraised at10-12k asking $9000 firm. This gun is soooo much cooler than this Heym !!!

i think so, thats where the english ones start out, and some nice ones can be had for that price.

Well, it depends on how one considers price and for what. A basic Merkel or Chapuis DR in 9.3X74R goes for between 6 and 9 thousand dollars, depending on engraving. Heyms cost a bit more new as they are generally considered to be a better built rifle. This rifle has upgraded wood and extra engraving,so is it overpriced at $10,500? Considering that George will usually deal on price if he knows that it is backed by cash from a real buyer rather than a tire -kicker, then the actual selling price on this may be in line with current market value. Just my opinion of course. Dave
