Please excuse me if this subject has been discussed before, as I am new to this forum. I came across this gun NIB matched barrel set in my 2 favorite chamberings 470 Nitro Express, and 9.3x74R.

What are your oppinions on the Blaser S2 double rifle? Is $13,399.99 a fair price for this set? I know their bolt actions are highly regarded but haven't heard anything on the S2. Your input is highly appreciated.

Hi Hawaiian,
price seems high. The Blaser recommended sales price for the S2 DB Safari Luxus is 5475 EURO.
The extra set of barrels in 9.3 is 2319 EURO. You will need a forearm for the 9.3, I could´nt find the price for it.
Accessoirs are standard Safari.
I´m not sure if turkish wallnut is standard, but choosing wood starts at 250 EURO extra.
Lets say it´s 500 EURO for that and forearm, the total price would be 8320 EURO. That´s approx. 10400 $US.
I would say, check again what they are offering.
The gun is excellent, easy to regulate, nice to shoot.
Would be my choice.

In Sweden you can buy two guns at about the same price today. One S2 Safari Luxus in 470NE and one regular S2 Luxus 9,3x74.

However it is a nice gun even if I don't have ammo to shot it yet.....
