Spring is hear and my targets finally appeared from the depths of the snow. I reinforced the structure and began shooting arrows again yesterday afternoon. I checked my bow for wear, tear and any other issues and found none. Going bear hunting in June and want to be ready.

It is a little hard to see but the targets are also blocked by the big fallen tree which I have now cut and moved.

I used the main portion of the log as a back border for my vegetable garden. It was a bit difficult to move and you can see I made a plan to roll it in place. I had to cut it in half first. The half way point is near the bottom right of the photo where you can see a 'Y' in the log. The archery targets are right behind that point. The other half of the tree is lying on the mountain.

Looks like you live in an awesome area---have never been to your neck of woods other than flying through---great looking range....

That's my east yard. The mountain (back yard) is on the right and the brook flows along the left side of the photo. As you can see I have been doing some select logging just past the tractor. I have a lot more to do. The trees laying are yellow birch, red maple and ash. I've taken care of the tops already, they are piled and ready to burn. All the wood will be blocked up this coming weekend. So I have a good start on the coming winter's firewood supply already, there is probably two cords there. Much of that needs to be split yet. All those small logs have served their purpose and will also go into the firewood supply.
