These were about the ultimate drillings, IMO. I had a post war Neptun, and it was a very nice gun, but it wasn't of the same class as the pre-war guns.

Any cape guns...???

The date on this one is 3/29, barrel length 26", weight (with four cartridges in the trap magazine) 7 pounds, 4 ounces, length of pull 14.5", drop at comb 1.75", drop at "hog back" 2.375", drop at heel 3.375".
