THANKS for a look at your VERY nice drilling DM! Yours says "Semper" becouse that is the model instead of Trumpf like mine! It is still a Sempert & Krieghoff product. Sould say the maker on the top of the barrels by the rib. Kevin.

Thanks! It would have been nice to have engraving on mine like your's has, as your's is just plain beautiful!

I use mine for 99% of all of my hunting, and it's been perfect for my needs.

"Trumpf" means "trump" in German. The other model drilling is the "Neptun" (Neptune) which is fitted with genuine sidelocks. Neptun Primus has hand detacthable locks.

Kevin: I have the exact same Drilling regarding the trap door buttplate...stuff..I have the
.22 rifle insert & all else is the same...except I lack the .22 rifle tool to use on the
insert...would you be so kind as to send me a few photos of the insert tool?
My personal email is: bisonland@bresnan.net The engraving on my rifle is different...
& it was made in 1938...
