The Royals are impressive - the Imperial - well, spectacular.
Those big horns are nice too.

Impressive pieces of game, congratulations on the hunters and on the guide!
I did not know that crossbow hunting was popular in the US (re. the pronghorn photo); in France it's illegal to hunt with a crossbow while bow hunting is legal.

Crossbows are not nearly as popular as bows..but they are used..laws regarding crossbows are different from state to state as to their usage and seasons allowed...

See the state listings below--
I have a very good friend who lost is left arm in an electrical accident years ago..he was granted a permit to hunt with his crossbow here in Montana... so even in states that are heavily restricted, there are always exceptions..

Same would happen here, RIPP, however many claim to hunt with crossbows.
We try to school them to use real arrows, weight wise, to improve penetration on the bigger game.
Filling aluminum crossbow bolts with salt will improve their performance by getting their weight up over 500gr.
Cutting tip broadheads also improve penetration and will slide around large bones and keep penetrating instead of digging in and stopping or bouncing out as is prone for chisel points (I am told).

Nice Caribou - double shovels are getting really hard to find nowadays.

This is one heck of a sheep anywhere..however it was harvested in an "unlimited draw" area..at least so I am told..

For those in other parts of the world, an unlimited area ..you get a tag when you apply..however season closes as soon as the quota for that area is filled..it is the hunters responsibility to check in often to make sure season is still open..SO, typically the game in this area get harvested sooner..and less potential for older bigger rams to show up.. was NOT the case here..good for him..

Not a 2018 kill, but a very recent British Columbia harvest of a Roosi. that B&C scored at 419.

I believe it is the current record Roosevelt Elk.
