I heard from a fishing buddy that there are wolves in southern Patagonia/Tierra del Fuego region.

Does anyone have any information on these or other big game down the bottom of SA?

I believe wild pigs are available to hunt there.

My brother in law went to Patagonia or Argentina, and hunted: Red Stag, Water Buffalo, Wild Boar, and one or two other species. S America also has a wolf. It is thinner and a little smaller than our timber wolves, I forget the common name used for it. Basically it is a timber wolf sub species.

Life is a little like sailing. You can't always follow your charted course, and you your destination may be different from what you had wanted.

Hmm.. Sounds like their wolf is about like one of our heavy east Texas coyotes..

Yes in our country there are wolfs, they look like but indeed they are from the family of dogs, (Canidaes) we call them AGUARA GUAZU, that means in native language: giant dog, it is a protected animal.
You can appreciate it in the following picture

Looks more like a fox than a wolf, but none the less it would look good in my trophy room.

Acquiring a milsurp rifle is a lot like dating. If the appearance is pleasing, you pick it up. Upon further examination, if you like the feel and smell of it, you take it home.
