Eric is quite good with the videos. Good shot, too. He's done a few with Jerry Miculek as well.

I have a few of these Rifles. They are easy to get shooting quite well.

I took one down to New Zealand to go Thar hunting with, alas it was too dry in the Tussock Country to be able to use one without an unacceptable fire risk.

Next time I go down there I will try and take a Deer,Thar and Chamois with one.

If a very tight load is not used, there is a real danger danger of fire in really dry country with a muzzleloader.
Some oils or greases used for patch lube are worse for that as well, such as Crisco oil or shortening.
Neetsfoot oil & Track's Mink oil make for particularly good patch lubes for hunting. The patches should be saturated with the oil or paste applied as a liquid.

ha. years back pop left his wad bag at home for his 11 ga. Maclean and brady shotgun so we used a handkerchief.thought the everglades was going to burn up . he missed the rabbit with first barrel but got him with the second. the quote was (ill get the rabbit you put out the fire)
