The front or set trigger looks peculiar, like the type found on some Mannlicher Schoenauers.

Worth a bit Eh !

I knew a guy with one of these, I think only use 340gr-350gr slug in Factory loads, be cool to reload with modern 400gr bullets ?

Indeed!
Not sure what twist FN gave their 10.75s but Mauser used the same for 10.75 and 404 Jeffery.
I find it interesting, maybe human nature, that we so often take a medium bore and instantly discuss loading heavier bullets to bring it into the realm of DG use and conversely look to lighter, flatter shooting projectiles to use in the bigger calibers to make them more versatile.

In this respect, the 10.75X68 with modern loading and either lighter or heavier bullets really could be a great all-round big game rifle!

Wow, that Kongsberg is like a hen's tooth. I heard they only made 400 and I have never actually seen one, only pics. I wonder how much it would cost to get it to the US?

The scope must have been really long and the mount really high to clear that bolt handle. Most likely a high power scope with a really big objective.

That Edwards patent must be a Mauser equivalent to the Harris patent for the Lee Speed rifles.

What a great rifle that Fraser is!

" bolt shroud model Swedish " does that mean its a 96 or some similar Swedish action, or just the shroud on a small ring ?

The Fraser is gorgeous but I like the .500 Jeffery as well. Looks like a well thought out rifle for the dangerous stuff, for those who can handle it. I really like the lines and the dimensions.

who change it into a 6,5-284 froim probably 6,5x57, take the claw mount of and the iron sights ...
the world could be a bad place sometimes, dont wish him good luck

Gastienne Renette is without any doubt a best name from paris but I dont know what this stock is here on the 10,75x68, it looks unusual on the pics
