Rifle makers name on octagon barrel

Looks like, but some of the leters may be wrong

H. BURGSMULLER & SUHNE HUFLIEFERANTEK KREJENSEN

Anyone familiar with this Marking On a Octagon Barrel , stamped on top

The rifle has been molested by some one. Stock and checkering has been sanded and is cracked

Possible restoration project rifle

The rifle has been Messed up by someone. Like I said someone sanded the stock, removed the checkering and rounded off all the edges, probably all the metal sets proud, so the stock is ruined and maybe can be used as a pattern to reduplicate a blank.

Also has weaver scope bases installed , The bolt handle looks like someone welded on one of those brownells Ruger style handles, The rest of the metal looks ok with double set trigers and a lever floor plate

Just wonder if this rifle has any value to salvage maybe restore. Has a half Octagon/half round barrel is of value and the action might be salvagable if the bolt handle is restored.

Is this "just another" german guild rifle or is the maker substantial

burgsmüller was one of the bigger makers, make pics of the hole rifle - will see if its in the catalog

the octagon/round barrel is the best looking barrel design ever. for me there is no question that I would restore this

I dont have it in my possesion, It is a full stock with a joint in the foream wood. Im trying to find out the barrel length. Has a barrel rib all the way to the front sight

burgsmüller have had two stutzen with full length barrel rib
there was a model 6466 with round pistol grib and side panels and a model 6462 having a pistol grip with cap

Also the reciever front ring has the big dovetail used for claw mount front base. Someone made a weaver base to fit into the dove tail.
