G'day Mehul,

can you tell me anything about the .303 Magnum round, as I haven't come accross it before. Does it's case differ very much from the standard SMLE round?

I think it was a .280 Ross necked up to .303 (.312") about the same as 30/06

Geez, the lock-time must be about half-an-hour with all that heavy hardware on the cocking-piece.

According to COTW, " Introduced by Jeffrey in 1919 and subsequently adopted by the British Match Rifle Committee.... only listed by Kynoch untl 1930... case is the same as the experimental 276 military round, capacity the same as the 30-06. Ballistics: 174FMJ @ 2850, 3050 ft.-lbs."

CH4D (www.ch4d.com) lists dies for about $75.00.
