Come on Daryl,

Can't take it with you..

The Honey Badger is expensive--others aren't that bad.. I really like the Buffalo Bore ammo --use it in most of my guns I take into the woods..

It's great to see the enthusiasm around handgun hunting.

Those are some nice looking factory loads.

I would, if I could! 275gr. SWC @ 1,210fps from my 4" S&W.

Most of us who hunt big game with handguns load our own. I've never fired a factory load in any of my hunting handguns.

The message that I'm seeing with the linked article is that there is enough interest in handgun hunting to support the specialty commercial ammunition production.

The further promotion of the ammunition will attract more attention and interest in handgun hunting.

I see nothing wrong with this!

NI agree, tinker - as long as they can make a go of IT, go for IT! Make it special. The problem as I see jacketed ammo, is it might be easy to make it for a special purpose - deer/black bear and smaller, then moose/elk/African larger antelope - then G-bear and Polar Bear.

There's certainly nothing wrong with it! I would guess that the market is mostly for new handgun hunters who may not yet handload, or for the occasional pistol hunter. There's something for everyone!

The load I noted is good for 5 out of 6 on the sheep sil. at 200 meters at our town range. Course, that was a while back when I could see.
