How 'bout this? I've got a Westley Richards 10-gauge double made in 1872. I'm in it $1500. It shows it's age.

Whack the bbls down to, oh say, 9-10". Grind out a Howdah stock. Winchester sells BP 10-g. loads. Buck & Ball?

Or, should I leave the gun alone.

I'm really in need of a Howda. The tigers are gathering at my windows as I speak.
(You doubt me? I live in Las Vegas. Many, many tigers here.)

I would love a Howdah too.

Or a .577" revolver. I am thinking of a Webley style revolver, using a short case, perhaps pushing a 600 grain bullet to 650 fps.

The Thomas Lloyd Howdah is no longer in the catalog. I'm working on buying a repop from middlesexvillagetrading.com. $345 - not too bad for a percussion Howdah.
