Looks a bit like a small Tasmanian devil. Well a little devil anyway.

Great puppy pics.

Thank you! Tail docking is banned here in finland. Even though he will be working dog I cant really see no reason to dock his tail.

I am glad Your buddy will keep his tail ! In my opinion every dog needs a tail to communicate and besides it looks nice.
Say hello from me to Your friend !

Hi there.

Dont necessarilly agree with this but it's realy not a big point.
I have Brittanys & they have traditonally had tails docked.
There is also aprox' 15% born naturally 'bob-tailed (meaning born with short or no tail).
None of em ever had trouble with coimmunication through not having a tail.
That idea that dogs need tails to communicate is a common misconception viewed from a human stand point.
In the wild tail-less dogs communicate quite well.
They learn to adapt to situations far better then we as humans think.
A dog with no tail doesn't know he doesn't have one.
He just goes about his life without ever thinking about it or worrying about it.

Having said that I have seen situations where tail docking is an advantage, & also where it is also not required. Where circumstances necessitate I think it should be permitted, but if it's just done for asthetic perposes then I disagree do with docking.
