Verney-Carron Sagittaire o/u double rifles?

Any feedback, pro or con, on the Verney-Carron Sagittaire o/u double rifles? Are there issues with some solid copper bullets being too hard for barrels, or is that just a SxS issue?

I wouldn't use solid copper bullets in any DR unless they had proper driving bands.

I don't understand what "Federal Cape" is ?

Especially the Cape ?

Only some DR makers warranty their guns with solid bullets
but I don't know the specifics.

Either way, if they don't have driving bands on them, I wouldn't use them Full Stop.

OK, "Federal Cape", you mean Federal Cape Shok Ammo.

The current factory loaded ammo with solid copper bullets is not a problem for any of the V-C O/U or SXS rifles.
