Wilkommen Sie! That is all the Deutsch I know and your English is superb no no need to apologise at all.

We are somewhat traditional here but that is because double rifles are an old tradition in guns. That does not mean, however, that we are not open to new ideas and you must be thanked for taking the time to come here and post. It is always refreshing when the inventor of a concept comes to our forum to put their ideas forward and we have had another gentleman who is associated with another modern double rifle design come and make many friends here. You will always be welcome.

And now my personal request - I am known here as the official pesterer for gun and hunting pictures. I would like to request you to please post some hunting pictures of successful hunters who have used your rifles whenever you have time. If posting is a problem, there are several of us who would be most happy to help you.

Best wishes and do enjoy your stay here and post any updates / information from time to time as there are new developments in your company. You will always be welcome.

I am very interested in buying an SW-1 as a compact rifle for motorcycle and lightplane trips. Do you have a USA distributor?

thank you for interest. And for your courage to show it here.

No, we don´t have a distributor in the US. We just started serial production and are selling here in europe as a first step.
I think the SW1 will be available in the US at the end of this year.

Please visit our homepage and drop me a line. I will inform you when we have found a distributor.

I have to apologize for having only a german website but the english version will start soon.
However there is an english flyer and an english manual, too.

Hello Dipling, likewise I hope my earlier comment didn't offend. I prefer classic stuff but I have to admit this would make a great survival gun and is certainly compact. What is overall length ? best, Mike Bailey

Hello Mike,

OAL is 26.8 inches, barrel length is 24 inches.
Weight (depending on calibres) is approximately 7.5 lbs without optics.

PS: You didn´t offend me. We visited the IWA fair in Nuremberg this year and I know nearly all opinions about the SW1. I´m aware of the SW1´s controversional design and I think if there is no critism we can´t get better.

I'd also be interested to know when you obtain a US distributor. My next gun will be a traditional Merkel drilling, but I mostly shoot my Blaser R93 now so I'm open to new ideas.

Yes, please let us know when you have a US distributor and when you launch here. I am sure that many would try your gun when it does go on sale and check it out for themselves.

All new ideas undergo some resistance but people do accept them when they see that they work.

Very best wishes and thanks for posting here. As I had assured you, you can see that you are making friends here. We are a friendly lot and enjoy an argument sometimes. I am also sure that both we and you have much to learn from each other. I am a learner but these forums have some very advanced experts in double rifle design and use.

it looks a bit anoying when the scope keeps hitting him in the forehead, that might give the flinch from hell.

other than that it looks very IPSC shooting style, which can be very fast.

Thank you for your sympathy Peter but the scope didn´t hit me. I´m a calm person but not so stoic to bear the kiss of a scope without reaction. ;-)

The IPSC-style is the best way for me to control recoil when shooting fast.
