e-mail from Bunduki Publishing today:

"Dear customers,
There has been serious setback at the printers and publication date for the Second Edition of "Building Double Rifles on Shotgun Actions" will be delayed at least two months.

We apologize to those of you who have been waiting and anticipating the April 1st delivery. We will notify you once we have a firm delivery date. At this time, it looks like the price will remain the same: $54.95 + $5.00 S&H.

We will try to keep the web site up to date as we have more information.

I'm not ordering (got a copy already), but somehow I'm on the mailing list. Good to know, though.

When did the change its price?
I re-check how much I payed (August 2007):

Cart Subtotal: $49.95 USD
Shipping: $10.00 USD (outside USA)

Interesting - it would appear from the website that it is not a revised and updated edition. My fine condition first edition copy cost less than that (if you exclude the priority shipping to the UK) too, although you will get it signed for an extra $3 !

I JUST GOT THE BOOK LAST FALL. tHERE IS A LOT OF JOBS THAT GET ONE PAGE IN THE BOOK BUT TAKES I OR 2 DAYS TO DO. AM MAKING A MONOBLOCK FOR A 16 GA.SAUER WILL TRY TO FITT A SET OF 30/30 BBLS.TO THE BLOCK.THERE IS A LOT OF OPINON ON THE SOLDER TO USE AND IF THEY ARE THREADED IN HOW IMPORTAN IS THE SOLDER JOINT.THE BBL WILL HAVE 1.250 THREAD LEGNTH AND HAVE FITTED BBL. ON BOLT RIFLES WITH LESS THREAD LEGNTH.JUST FOUND THIS FORUM AND JOINED LAST WEEK THANK YOU JOE
