Great petite Pre-War K.Kahles Wien Hubertus 4x ZF (scope)

Here is a really nice compact Pre-War scope that is quite special. While often seen on various combination guns, rifles and Mannlicher-Schoenauer's, I think this rig would really compliment a Kleins Kaliber rifle or training 22! The optics are clear but a bit foggy (needs a cleaning but these scopes disassemble). The reticle is a post and cross bars (German #1). The elevation and parallax work flawlessly (the entire rear ocular rotates for parallax!). The uppers are slick little mounts for a rail system and feature the see through feature that enables use of the open sights while mounted. The matching miniature leather case is also in great shape and the only one I have ever seen like it! All and all a rare little rig that really pleases in hand. This scope is made in the early 1920, the Hubertus Model is not very rare. Quite interesting is the mount.
In germany it would be around 150 euro.

Quite unusual here in the USA Chapmen, The matching miniature leather case is a rare accessory that I have never seen! Now $250 OBO..

Hi,
What is the size of the dovetail. You say it is for a small calibre, would it fit a rimfire dovetail? I have an early Mauser 22rf that this would suit.

Lee, The dovetail interior measurements are 11MM tapering down to 10MM, my measurements aren't exact though as I am using a ruler! Best, Kevin.
