long time I had this DWM ammo box for the 8x57 IR but special with Mauser A base made by DWM. sadly one of the 10 rounds was missing. I got now 3 rounds from the friend of a friend to choose one for making the box complete again.
Actually I never see a rifle made for this version but maybe they are not only rare but wrong identified today. don't know if this guns can be shoot with the normal 8x57IR.looks like the rim is something thicker.









the 3 on the right side are the new ones, the third from the right looks most like the rounds in the box.

Lancaster, those are very interesting. I thought the Mauser A head cases were only used in black powder rounds.

beside of the rim its a common 8x57IR made by DWM up to WW 2.
because I never had a rifle for this in my hands can't say what the intention was.
