I think you guys are on the wrong track I recently saw a double in 250-3000 savage. Now with proper shot placement ...

Awh heck, why not be sporting? Here's a dandy little double rifle in .22 Hornet. Now that would get his attention!

Charging chipmunks, anyone?

I would opt for a 416 Rigby with 400g slugs at 2350 fps. I would be surprised if that didn't do it. I might be dead, too.

Now hold on here just a minute.. This is just getting to out of hand here. I tell you what spears and guns, cannon's and all that stuff.

Any of you ever go to Sunday school when you were a kid or read the bible, rememeber the story about David & Goliath. Hit him with a slingshot right between the eyes. Well there you go..

On the other hand if I wanted to use a gun can you still get those Red Ryder BB guns, that should be a real stopper!!

I searched this out one day on the internet and the latest thing I found was the Japanese being worried that the decomposition/degradation of the aged DNA samples had them turning more towards finding a frozen MALE Woolly Mammoth in good enough shape that frozen sperm can be extracted from him to impregnate a female elephant..........

If this be the case then a simple one caliber increase should suffice to allow a little "extra" for the hairy halfbreed.........

Well, either way, the chances of me hunting and shooting a wooly mammoth is pretty small. Perhaps for my grandkids....

However, I would tell them to use my 416 Rigby. Maybe I will leave a note in my will.....
