AHR CZ #1 Upgrade

Hi all, just got my rifle back from Ed and Wayne at AHR. They did their CZ #1 upgrade (straighten and fill bolt, 3 position Model 70 type safety and a really nice single stage trigger). They also replaced the rear sight with an NECG one, and re-glass bedded the action and added a recoil lug. It all looks great, looking forward to shooting it on Sunday! I apologize ahead for my lousy photography, if someone has any helpful hints on photographing rifles, I'm all ears ...

Thanks, yes right now it's a 375 H&H. I'm seriously thinking of having it rebarreled/chambered to 470 Capstick next winter. This fall I expect it to be hell on elk and mule deer as a 375. Africa is still a few years away for me.

The knob on the end of the bolt handle is hollow (and the edges a little sharp sometimes). You will notice looking at the end of the bolt handle that it is filled in with a decorative emblam of some sorts.

Thanks, I took it out shooting at a friends place today, we could only shoot at 50 yards, but the rifle shot 1 hole ragged 3 shot groups with both open sights and my leupold 1.5 - 5x scope on it. The rear NECG Masterpiece sight was a huge improvement! So I plan to just go out and shoot it now and get ready for deer and elk season. Those 350g Woodleigh weldcores should be serious medicine for deer. Next winter, I'm rebarreling to either 470 Capstick, but more likely 500 Jeffery. The recoil is just too mild with the 375 H&H ...

I'm guessing they whacked the barrel off for the barrel band, to 21" ?????

Nice rilfe and they look like they do an excllent job of it.
