I wouldn't go on another buff hunt where I expected to "hoover" aka bum scoot across burnt ground again without a set of lightweight rubber palm/fingered mesh work gloves such as Maxiflex.

Put a few rounds down the barrels of a splinter forend double 500 and you will quickly find out what dr shooters wear one on the non-trigger finger hand!

Never really worn gloves unless really cold, or working, not even in Africa but I could see where they would have been useful.
