10 Day Safari for Two Hunters & Two Non-hunters!

The SCI Low Country Chapter of Charleston, South Carolina is holding an Online Auction on the Chapter website to help raise funds for our conservation projects. We are offering two hunts in the Auction.



The first is a 10 day hunt with Shi-awela Safaris for two hunters and two non-hunters that INCLUDES the Trophy Fees for 6 animals.

The Donation Value of this hunt is $12,700.00.

The Current High Bid is presently only $4,500.00!

Shi-awela Safaris welcomes both bow hunters and rifle hunters.



The Donated hunt INCLUDES the Daily Rates for 10 days for 2 Hunters (2X1) & 2 Non-hunters. Trophy Fees for 2 large animals and 4 small animals are also included.

Large animal choices are Gemsbok, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra or Red Hartebeest.

Small animal choices are Impala, Warthog, Duiker, Steenbok or Jackal.

The hunt can be booked on available dates in either 2004 or 2005.



For those of you looking to make your first trip to Africa, this may be your chance to get a great deal on a 10 day hunt with an established and well-known safari company.

The second hunt in the Online Auction is an Argentina Dove Hunt for 6 – 12 shooters that INCLUDES 3 days of shooting, accommodations in a first-class lodge and Round-trip airfare from Miami.

The Donation Value is $2,895.00 per shooter and the Minimum Opening Bid is just $1,900.00 per shooter!

In-country transportation, hunting licenses, all meals, wine and open bar are all included. The only additional expenses are for shotgun shells and a tip to your bird boys!

If you consider this hunt is for TWO hunters so far the highest bid is only US$2250 each !!!!! Plus two observers!

What a cheap way for someone or two, especially someone who has not hunted Africa before, to go.

Why not take the entire family of four, and two of you get to hunt.

Hey people, this looks like a great deal. 2 hunters, 2 observors, 10 days and trophy fees for six animals.

Around $5000 per last high bid posted. Around $2100 trophy fees for 2 large animals and about $1000 + for the 4 smaller ones, leaves about $200 per day for 2 hunters and 2 guests !!!! (ie $100 each a day). Where can you find a deal like that today?

Hell I have agonised over it myself several times. If another person was interested I might even be tempted again.

If I hadn't committed myself somewhat to another (provisional) hunt with an NE member(s) I would definitely be bidding on this.
