Eradicating feral pigs on Kangaroo Island. South Australia

Pigs have been on Kangaroo Island off the coast of South Australia for over 200 years. Originally released by whalers and sealers who had bases on KI. Goats and pigs were released on remote isands and places as food sources in case of shipwreck.

The KI feral pigs, really now wild pigs, are very disease free and clean. Very good eating. Very fine to hunt and take for game meat back home.

The extensive bush fires two years ago, 2020, burned a large percentage of the island, a lot of the National Parks especially Flinders Chase National Park to the West. Flinders Chase is maybe a fifth of the island? And burned many farms as well. We did have soot falling down at the farm 200 or 300 KMs away, and smoke in the air. Per msm it sounded like 80% was burned and everything was gone. Msm is hard to believe nowadays. I hoped to spend some time over there after. But never did. It is quite expensive for the vehicle ferry.

The bushfires eliminated large numbers of feral animals and native wildlife, farm animals etc. Also with the bush burned the pigs are more accessible. The bush could be very thick. When I hunted there pigs could and were hiding in the very thick bushes of the road verges. Dogs would be needed to get the out. This thick growth is no doubt gone. Regrowth will be very thick when it gets growing. An opportunity to eliminate this rare unique species of wild pigs.

Govt is aiming to exterminate this unique population of rate wild pigs. I do not consider extermination a good thing

Any other game there besides pigs and goats>
If not, then why not?
Could this be to eliminate that protein source, NWO style?

Might be some illegally released pheasant shoots. Are there rabbits on Ki? No idea. They have wild turkeys. Lots of kangaroos, and wallabies. Lots of possums. I shot on permit many dozens of possums, they were everywhere. Somecwallabies.

Nothing to do with NWO bs. Kangaroo Island is a large isolated island, with lots of farms, sheep, cropping, some cattle and vineyards. People love it for its purity.

Daryl, if you ever get this way it's worth a tourist visit for two or three days. Seals, Fairy Penguins, whales if you are lucky. Dolphins onnthe ferry over. Reportedly good fishing as well. Good lobster/crayfish over there. Big tabbies too.

Daryl, as I have said many times, Australian wildlife authorities desire is to exterminate all introduced feral species and totally protect all native species. Really unsophisticated specieist fascists .....

Another, but longer visit would be enjoyable, indeed.
