2 very old projectiles found in this skull, also 2 glass balls embedded in jaw and overgrown by bone. The man that does my heads reckons 90 year animal. Had my first nip on hand so will need to complete my NT TIME mid NOV to mid DEC. IT won’t be pleasant. I look forward to identifying the glass balls.

Croc bite, from a near dead one? Captured? Good to still have your fingers.

I love these old big skulls. Almost bought one in a Melbourne shop once. Wife prevented that. How long is that one?

Finishing in December? Aweful weather?

Not near dead, hand in wrong spot. Haven’t measured head yet however it is widest head I have harvested by sight. Will measure up at end of year.

Col. that is going to sting a bit, lucky to have an arm, not just fingers,

Think you need to get that Purdey .600 into action

I expect a .600 might open up the "wound" slighlty.
Yikes!~

Very lucky indeed mate that you still have everything attached!
Crocs are good at playing 'dead', even the most experienced blokes can get caught out.
Hope to see more of your adventures - less stiches of course!

Are croc skulls usually that rough/looking porous, or is that only due to great age.
Oh yeah - the glass balls - looking forward to hearing about those.

The glass balls embedded in the jaw, no doubt the croc chewed something and the marbles got embedded or stuck there. I hate to say it, but maybe marbles in a child's pocket?
