Just one question about the Browning Mod. 1885 High Wall
      #331375 - 19/08/19 05:40 AM

Hello friends! I just have a short question about the Browning 1885 High Wall. I could possibly get one at an auction in 45/70 and the owner claims that it was made in 1994. Can anybody here tell me if that rifle is made by Miroku or in the USA? I couldn`t find any info on the internet so I would appreciate an answer!

Thanks in advance!

Keep on hunting!

Kalunga

I will look through my Blue Book of Guns Values which is at my office..however I would guess it was manufactured in Miroku.. based on what I remember and some info I have found on the internet..

Miroku sounds about right to me, too. But - not sure. The model 1886's of the 1990's were also made in/by Miroku, Japan.
My bro has one.

Based on what I have researched ..I am reasonably certain it was built in Japan..

G'Day Fella's,

+1 to the above Kalunga.
I'm pretty sure any recent 1885 Winchester/Browning (and 1886,92,95 etc) rifles, were all made by Miroku.

FYI, Pedersoli also make, very nice 1885 rifles.

D'oh!
